Terms of Service

1. Service

LegalPro Chatbot ("Service") is an AI-powered intake chatbot for law firm websites, operated by Leak Shield Technologies LLC ("we", "us"), 16201 E Indiana Ave, STE 1225, Spokane Valley, WA 99216. By subscribing, you agree to these terms.

2. Subscription & Payment

• The Service is billed monthly at the rate shown at signup (currently $149/month).
• Payment is processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's terms.
• No setup fees. No long-term contracts. You may cancel anytime.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds for the remaining period.

3. Money-Back Guarantee

If you are not satisfied within the first 30 days, contact us at nico@nico-ai.de for a full refund of your first monthly payment. This guarantee applies to the first month only.

4. What We Provide

• A customized AI chatbot trained on your firm's practice areas and configured for your website.
• Installation support (embed code for your website).
• Ongoing hosting, AI processing, and maintenance of the chatbot.
• Reasonable updates and improvements to the Service.

5. What We Don't Provide

• Legal advice. The chatbot assists with intake and scheduling — it does not provide legal counsel.
• Guaranteed lead conversion or case outcomes.
• Uptime guarantees (we aim for high availability but do not offer an SLA at this time).

6. Your Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the accuracy of information provided to configure the chatbot (practice areas, attorney names, availability).
• You must ensure the chatbot's use on your website complies with applicable bar rules and advertising regulations in your jurisdiction.
• You must not use the Service for purposes other than law firm client intake and communication.

7. Data & Privacy

Chat conversations between your website visitors and the chatbot are processed by third-party AI providers (currently OpenAI) to generate responses. We do not store chat transcripts beyond the active session. Visitor data collected through the signup form is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is." We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Service, including but not limited to lost leads, missed appointments, or inaccurate chatbot responses. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate the subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, the chatbot will be deactivated at the end of the current billing period. We may terminate your account if you violate these terms or use the Service for unlawful purposes.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Spokane County, Washington.
